Michael Jordaan (CEO, First National Bank) and the FNB Innovators will host me for a discussion on developing sustainable innovation programs on August 18, 2008. I plan to share my thoughts on how organizations should leverage their knowledge-based assets for developing sustainable innovation programs. Specifically, how should organizations in emerging markets construct, and then manage, sustainable innovation programs.

Simply put, Cape Town is a beautiful city! Cape Town ranks in the top 10 cities of the world that I have had the pleasure to visit. Nothing that I have seen around the globe can rival the Cape Peninsula. The vineyards around Cape Town are spectacular. The views from Table Mountain are fantastic! If you have never indulged in bottle of Pinotage (South Africa’s only true cultivar, a cross between the Pinot noir and Cinsaut ), you must! The University of Cape Town has wonderful facilities and attracts students from around the globe. Plus, the nightlife and rugby!!!
Overall, very impressed!!!
