I have spent most of this week, working on an article that needs to be resubmitted for publication. Let us hope it gets accepted! Besides writing, I delivered two lectures at WITS on Management Information Systems to first year IS students.

Tomorrow, I will go on a Safari to Pilanesberg National Park. Stay tuned for pictures from this exciting trip. Saturday, is rugby time, and I look forward to catching at least two matches…

Now, I better to get back to work and prepare for my IS Strategy graduate course…

I spent the weekend roaming around Johannesburg. I visited the following places:

• Apartheid Museum [probably one of the best museums and records of the days of Apartheid and the transition out of Apartheid…]
• Museum Africa [a nice public museum that had an exhibition on Gandhi’s time in South Africa…]
• Oriental Palace [a nice bazaar where 99.9% of the stores are owned by South Africans who immigrated from India and Pakistan…]
• South African Breweries – World of Beer [probably the best brew tour in the world…]

I took a tour this morning to the Soweto. During my visit, I had the opportunity to see the residences of Nelson Mandela (Madiba), Bishop Desmond Tutu, and Winnie Madikizela-Mandela. In addition, I visited the Hector Pieterson Memorial Museum and the Regina Mundi Catholic Church. See below for a few pictures….Cheers
